Absences

All absences and reason for absence must be reported to the office as soon as possible. This can be done via:

1.  Skool Loop

2.  Call & leave a message 

3.  Text or email

This is a requirement by law and is an important safety measure.

Students who miss too much school find it difficult to keep up with ongoing programmes, and then become unhappy at school, which becomes an obstacle to their learning.  In cases where students are persistently absent for reasons other than ill health, the Principal is required to notify the Education Authority (Truancy Office) and Social Welfare.
