The School Board

The role of the Board:

The Board is a crown entity and is responsible for the governance of Takapau School. The key focus of their role is the improvement of student progress and achievement.

The Board creates and implements policies, ensures the maintenance of the school and buildings, and is accountable for the funding from government.

The Board is responsible for consultation with  parents, and working the principal and staff to ensure the school is held to a high standard.
